1. Use of the Website

Doctize manages the website www.doctize.nl, including related extensions and mobile applications linked to this website. Through these platforms, we offer the opportunity to connect with BIG-registered doctors to obtain medical services and care. By using our website and services, you agree to these terms and conditions and all other conditions stated on the site. If you do not agree with these terms, we request that you do not use the website and/or services.

2. Services and Liability

The medical services are provided by BIG-registered doctors operating through Doctize. These doctors are individually responsible for the care they provide. Doctize and any third parties recommending the services are not liable for the professional advice and treatments you receive via Doctize. We monitor our doctors through periodic evaluations with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO).

3. Application Procedure

Submitting an application to Doctize does not guarantee that a doctor will be assigned or that your application will be processed. Each application is individually assessed based on the nature of the complaint, the availability of our doctors, and other relevant factors. We will only contact you if we decide to process your application. We handle your personal data discreetly and are bound by professional confidentiality. In case of a life-threatening situation, call 112.

4. Privacy

The information you provide to the doctor during the consultation is legally considered confidential. The data you enter online when making an appointment is also handled with the utmost care. We make every effort to ensure that this personal information is secure. Please also refer to our privacy statement.

5. Access Rights and Code of Conduct

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the website and use the services. The services are intended for personal, non-commercial use only and are permitted solely under these terms and any other separate agreements made with us.

You agree to refrain from:

• Impersonating another person or entity or otherwise misrepresenting your relationship with a person or entity.
• Using the site or services in violation of laws and regulations.

Additionally, you agree to avoid offensive language and behavior that may be considered inappropriate or unlawful while using the services provided through Doctize.

6. Fees and Payment Terms

You agree to pay all fees or charges in effect at the time of use. By making the payment, you agree to all the terms of Doctize. The amount due for the services is collected in advance and is generally at your own expense.

In some cases, health insurance may cover the costs. A prescribed prescription is usually covered under the standard basic insurance. In some cases, the prescription may not be reimbursed by the health insurer. Please consult your health insurer for these matters.

7. Cancellations and Changes

You understand and accept that you are responsible for honoring scheduled appointments. Scheduled appointments cannot be canceled. If you are unable to attend the scheduled appointment, you can reschedule it free of charge up to 24 hours in advance to another suitable time.

8. Right to Amend

We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove parts of these terms at our discretion. Any changes will be published on the website and will take effect from the moment of publication.
